Mountains of the Abaseen region
About Abaseen Technical College

Building Skills. Creating Opportunities. Transforming Futures.

From the Mountains to the WorldLearn Here. Work Anywhere.

Abaseen Technical College is creating pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, overseas opportunities, and industry-ready skills through a modern blend of online education and practical apprenticeship training.

Our Story

Why Abaseen Technical College Exists

Across the mountain regions of northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thousands of young people leave their homes every year seeking employment — inside Pakistan and abroad.

Many travel to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman and other countries without technical qualifications or industry-recognised skills.

Others pursue study opportunities in Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, the UK and the USA while struggling to support themselves financially.

Despite this reality, access to modern technical education remains limited in many mountain districts.

Abaseen Technical College was established to bridge this gap — connecting education, industry and employment through a modern apprenticeship-based learning model.

The Challenge

The Skills Gap

The structural barriers that ATC was built to address.

Limited Technical Education Access

Modern technical institutes are scarce in mountain districts.

Distance from Institutions

Universities and training centres are far, costly and hard to reach.

Lack of Industry Exposure

Students rarely get to experience a real industrial environment.

Skills Shortages

Employers struggle to find people with modern, applied technical skills.

Overseas Workforce Migration

Many young people travel abroad for work without formal training.

Youth Unemployment

The number of graduates far exceeds the available employment opportunities.
